Mixing Instructions

  1.           Empty the sachet into your shaker or blender.
  2.           Add 200-250ml of cold water – depending on how thick you like your shakes.
  3.           Shake or blend until smooth.
  4.           Enjoy your delicious VLCD Chocolate Shake!

Top Tips

  •       Add a few ice cubes before blending for a thicker shake.
  •       Whip up some chocolate ice cream – add 60ml of water, 12 ice cubes, and your shake to your mixer, whizz together for 2 minutes, and enjoy.
  •       Add hot water (not boiling) for a warming Hot Chocolate.
  •       Add a teaspoon of instant coffee or espresso powder with hot water (not boiling) for an easy Mocha.

    Please back the old chocolate shake recipe, maybe as an original chocolate and call the current recipe caramel chocolate.

    The new taste is far too sweet and sickly, the old recipe was nice and chocolatey without being too sweet.

    I agree with Helen’s review that the shake was really good before the recipe change last year. The old one used to make the most delicious mousse with the mousse mix but the new one is awful as a mousse.
    I still use this as I also don’t like the savoury options. I mix this shake with hot water to make a hot chocolate, it’s ok that way.

    Many years ago the chocolate shake was awful, then maybe 3-4 years ago the shake tasted amazing, totally moreish, I think it was the Fast range from Superdrug! Then this year they change the recipe again and it’s back to being (in my opinion) disgusting. Not great for me because I only like 3 shake flavours and no savoury LL products at all due to the after taste. I just don’t understand the reviews that say how lovely they are! 😀
