Change is a normal part of everyone’s life – and the stages of change are pretty typical, too. The transition curve shows what usually happens during the change process. What’s really useful about it is that it helps you anticipate what may be coming up. So, if you hit a tricky patch, rather than questioning both your goal and your motivation, you can see that what you’re experiencing is a perfectly normal reaction on the road to change.
